Taylor Swift sends fans wild with surprising clue about 12th album

Taylor Swift’s 12th album might be coming out sooner than Swifties expect.
The 35-year-old pop superstar sent fans wild with a sudden hint at her 12th album when music news and gossip site Hits Daily Double seemingly revealed that she was working on her upcoming album with Republic Records.
The update sparked a lot of buzz on Tuesday, with Swifties being more than excited for the next release.
However, the article was filed under “Near Truths” with no confirmation of their being any official announcement.
The article initially read that “seismic rumblings of a new Taylor set keep the Republic team as aggressive as ever,” as reported by Daily Mail, which was changed soon after into a vague and less assertive sentence.
The updated line read, “And there’s always Taylor.”
Although the change update might’ve had an opposite effect if Swift wanted to take the attention away from her upcoming album, because fans thought that she is keeping the album a secret but it is most definitely there.
“Oh republic you better pull out all the stops,” wrote one fan on X.
Another wrote, “We’re about to witness another cultural reset AGAIN.”
Referring to the change, a third wrote, “Taylor Nation made some calls. the album is DEFINITELY coming.”
“So that must mean it’s REALLY coming then and Tree told them to get rid of that,” another fan agreed, referring to Swift’s publicist, Tree Paine.
The 14-times-Grammy winner released her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, in 2024 and has not released any music since.
