In the super-premium credit card segment, SBI Card has its own metallic AURUM Credit Card that competes directly with HDFC Bank Infinia, ICICI Bank Emerald Private and American Express Platinum Charge cards.
SBI AURUM Credit Card has replaced SBI Card’s previous top premium bracket offering, the ELITE Credit Card, and comes with a wider array of benefits. The premium card that adorns a metallic design comes with a host of luxury benefits, exclusive privileges and rewards that are made especially for elite users
Benefits And Features
The luxury benefits of the SBI AURUM Credit Card span across different categories, including travel and reward programs. The premium card comes with the welcome or joining benefits of 40,000 Reward Points worth Rs 10,000, a complimentary 1-year membership of Club Marriott, Wall Street Journal and Mint, as well as free access to the Angel Investor Network (Inflection Point Venture) for one year.
For golf lovers, the card offers 16 complimentary golf rounds per calendar year, four each per quarter. To those looking to sharpen their golfing skills, there are 12 complimentary golf lessons provided per calendar year.
The premium cardholders also get monthly and yearly spending benefits. While the monthly benefit includes a Tata CliQ voucher worth Rs 1,500 on a monthly expenditure of Rs 1 lakh, yearly benefits consist of a Tata CliQ Luxury worth Rs 5,000 on spending Rs 5 lakh a year, one Taj voucher worth Rs 10,000 on annual spending of Rs 10 lakh and an Apple vouchers worth Rs 20,000 on yearly spends of Rs 20 lakh.

Eligibility
Eligible candidates include those aged 21 or above in the salaried employees’ bracket and individuals who are 25 years old or above in the self-employed category. The annual income in either category must be 40 lakhs or above to acquire the SBI AURUM Credit Card. It is also required to maintain an excellent credit score and relationship with the issuer.
The joining and annual fees of the SBI Aurum Card are Rs 9,999 plus applicable taxes. The annual fee can be waived if you have spent Rs 12 lakhs or more in the previous anniversary year. The card offers an interest rate of 45 per cent per annum.
