Osbourne family shaken as Sharon and Ozzy move back home

Jack Osbourne opened up about his heartbreak after his parents, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, decided to leave the United States and return to their home in the UK.

The move came after decades of the couple living in America, as they wanted to spend their later years in their Buckinghamshire mansion but that meant being far away from Jack and his four daughters Pearl, Andy, Minnie and Maple.

Jack feared that the girls would only get to see their grandparents once a year.

In the BBC documentary Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne Coming Home, which was filmed before Ozzy’s sudden death in July, Jack said, “Emotionally … I think it’s gonna be difficult for sure. I can realistically bring my kids over there once a year.”

He continued, “You learn things from your grandparents, and just having the ability to have a kind of closeness and a rapport with their grandparents is priceless.”

He shared his worries with Sharon, telling her, “What breaks my heart is thinking about you and Pearl’s relationship. You guys are so close, and then that’s like bye, see you once a year, twice a year.” Sharon comforted him, saying it would never be so limited.

Sharon also revealed she was looking forward to retirement with Ozzy after he stepped away from music with his Black Sabbath reunion gig just weeks before his passing.

“It’s our last chapter. This is it, this is our time,” she said. Ozzy reflected, “Time goes by like a flash … If I had to live my life again, I wouldn’t change a thing.”
