Diddy’s sentence hearing begins: Family and lawyers arrive in court

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is just moments away from hearing his fate as his sentence hearing begins.
On the morning of Friday, October 3, the music mogul walked into court. Although he has mainly been seen in his prison attire over the past year, the 55-year-old wore an oatmeal-coloured sweater and dark pants for the occasion, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Combs waved to his family, who had arrived in court earlier. His mother, Janice Combs, is reportedly seated in the second row of the public gallery. Six out of seven of Combs’ children were also pictured arriving in a blacked-out SUV, holding hands as they walked into the courtroom. His youngest, two-year-old Love, is not present.
The Bad Boy Records founder greeted his lawyers, including Marc Agnifilo and Nicole Westmoreland, who arrived half an hour before the sentencing began.
Dozens of people, including Combs’ supporters, have crowded outside of the court, with some even setting camp a day prior.
Upon seating himself, Combs blew a kiss to his family before putting his glasses on and going through some legal documents.
Combs faces up to 20 years in prison after being convicted on two prostitution charges following his federal trial in May. The prosecution is pushing for 11 years, while the defence is seeking only 14 months.
