Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura makes social media comeback

Casandra “Cassie” Ventura has made a low-key return to social media, marking one of her first public moments since giving birth to her third child and testifying against her ex, Sean “Diddy” Combs, in his criminal trial.

The singer, 37, welcomed a baby boy with her husband, Alex Fine, on May 28, just under two weeks after taking the stand in Combs’ case, where he faced charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

She and Fine, 32, are also parents to daughters Frankie Stone, 5, and Sunny Cinco, 4.

On Thursday, August 7, Ventura shared a lighthearted moment on her Instagram Stories about adjusting to life postpartum. 

Reposting a clip originally shared by the momswithplans page, the video showed a man dancing energetically in front of a crowd to DJ Khaled’s Wild Thoughts featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller. 

Over the video, text read, “When your old self slowly starts coming out postpartum.” Ventura added her own caption: “Factual. Little by little. lol.”

Her return to Instagram comes after an emotional and highly publicized trial earlier this year. 

During her testimony, Ventura spoke about the abuse she says she endured during her long relationship with Combs, which ended in 2018. She described what she called “freak offs”, s*x parties where she and others were allegedly forced to have sexual encounters with male sex workers while Combs watched.

In June, the jury found Combs guilty on prostitution charges but cleared him of the more serious accusations of sex trafficking and racketeering.

Ventura has largely stayed out of the public eye since, focusing on her growing family while sharing only small glimpses of her personal life, with her latest post offering a candid, relatable nod to her postpartum journey.
