Blake Lively ends feud with pal Taylor Swift as she celebrates ‘The Life of a Showgirl‘

Blake Lively showed her support for Taylor Swift’s new album The Life of a Showgirl, putting to rest talk of tension between the two.
The Gossip Girl actress has been the topic of many speculations after reports claimed that her friendship with the music icon was cooling off during her ongoing legal dispute with actor and director Justin Baldoni.
But Blake’s simple gesture on social media helped silence the rumours, as she tapped the like button on Taylor’s October 3 Instagram post celebrating the album release, joining other well known friends including Brittany Mahomes and Kylie Kelce.
The Lover hitmaker also appeared to hint at the strength of their bond through her song Cancelled! which fans believe was inspired by the It Ends with Us actress.
In the track, Taylor sang that she liked her friends “cancelled” and reminded them that her loyalty remained strong even in times of public criticism.
Lyrics such as “Did you girlboss too close to the sun? / Did they catch you having far too much fun?” and “I like ‘em cloaked in Gucci and in scandal / Like my whiskey sour / And poison thorny flowers” led many listeners to draw connections to Blake.
However, some even noted her ties with Gucci and her Betty Buzz liquor brand.
Although Taylor never confirmed who the song was about, she said the message reflected her own experiences with public scandals.
The Shake It Off singer earlier explained that she did not distance herself from people simply because others turned against them, but instead judged them by how they treated her personally.
With Taylor and Blake showing signs of unity, speculation of a rift seemed to fade away.
