Ariana Grande marks ’50 days’ till ‘Wicked: For Good’ with heartfelt note

Ariana Grande shared a touching farewell post ahead of Wicked: For Good release.
The renowned Broadway musical Wicked, based on Gregory Maguire’s novel, was brought to silver screen by director Jon M. Chu in 2024.
The film instantly became a mega hit and bagged 2 out of 10 Oscar nominations for best costume and production design.
Following the release, the it was renewed for its sequel which is releasing soon in a span of 50 days.
Grande, who plays Glinda the Good Witch, took to her Instagram to reflect on her days on the set.
She shared video clips of herself in Glinda’s attire and her iconic wand, being emotional and hugging her crewmates.
Along the clips she also shared a sweet lengthy note about her experience on set.
“50 days until @wickedmovie for good,” she began.
Talking about how hectic the shoot was, Grande added, “These films were a tremendous undertaking in every way for all of us… mentally, physically, emotionally… floating home sleepily at the end of every work day feeling like ‘husks’, we would always say.”
The thank u, next crooner, expressed her gratitude to her crew on set, saying, “I am so inexplicably lucky to have had the support of my bubble and the people within it. everywhere I turned, at any given moment, I was met with the warmth of a million suns, the sweetest hugs and hands to hold.”
Grande then gave a shout-out the everyone on the set.
The multi-talented star reflected on her time filming Wiked, describing the set as “a home away from home,” and called her castmates a source of comfort, “sunshine when there is only rain.”
Grande said that she cherished their hugs, check-ins and support. She concluded the post with “I love you always.”
In addition to Grande, Cynthia Erivo also stars in the film as Elphaba Wicked Witch of the West.
The Wicked: For Good is set to be released on November 21.
