Kim Kardashian is making it clear that she’s unfazed by her daughter North West’s latest bold style choices.
The Kardashians star addressed fan reactions after her 12-year-old daughter—whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West—unveiled a striking new look complete with fake face tattoos, a faux septum piercing, and blue contact lenses.
Despite online chatter questioning the makeover, Kim, 45, made it known she wasn’t concerned.
After a TikTok video suggested that fans were “worried” about North’s transformation, Kim commented from the official account she shares with her daughter, writing simply, “This is such a non-issue.”
The SKIMS founder, who also shares Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, with Kanye, has long supported her eldest daughter’s creative freedom and individuality.
“I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is,’” Kim said during an episode of Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper. “It makes her so happy. I would never take that creative away from her.”
According to Kim, North has developed strong confidence and independence through that freedom.
“She’ll be like, ‘Mom, I saw this and I don’t really care if someone says they don’t like my blue hair, or my this or that,’” Kim shared. “And she’s really confident and is like, ‘I probably wouldn’t be hanging out with those people.’”
That supportive parenting approach has clearly strengthened their relationship. Just days earlier, North shared a sweet birthday tribute to her mom, posting on TikTok Stories, “Happy birthday to my mom. I love you so much and I hope you have the best birthday ever. Thank you for always being there for me and supporting me!”
