‘The Wheel of Time’ gets big blow again
In a sudden shock, Amazon has recently cancelled The Wheel of Time after season three.
In its run, the fantasy show has garnered a sizeable fanbase, which was presumably left miffed after the streamer’s decision.
But there was apparently a hope that, given the popularity of the novel from which the series was adapted, any streaming service might shop the series.
However, a recent report in TVLine poured cold water on this, citing an insider; the outlet reported that no streamer is up for rescuing the show.
It’s relevant to mention that The Wheel of Time is reportedly cancelled after the series did not get the desired ratings, given the budget it had.
The series had an ensemble cast involved Rosamund Pike, Daniel Henney, Josha Stradowski, Zoë Robins, Madeleine Madden, Marcus Rutherford, Dónal Finn, Ceara Coveney, Sophie Okonedo, Kate Fleetwood, Natasha O’Keeffe, among others.
