‘Shrinking’ maker spills out major spoiler for season 3
Shrinking has become one of the hit shows on AppleTV+, and for its season three, Bill Lawrence, the co-creator, has let slip a casting name that was meant to be a surprise.
During Austin’s ATX TV Festival panel, he accidently shared that Candice Bergen, known for Murphy Brown, is coming on board for season three.
Bill, in his speech, raved about the return of Michael J. Fox to acting after taking a break due to health-related issues.
“He’s one of the greatest people I’ve ever met,” he said, referring to the veteran actor as he will appear in season three.
“He’s one of my mentors. And man, what an inspiring dude, the way he’s living his life. So to get to have him back, working with him,” the co-creator added.
“I didn’t expect to have career highlights at this point in my career and I was on set about 10 days ago watching Harrison Ford and Mike Fox and Candice Bergen — oh a spoiler!” the maker said.
Though, Bill did not add much detail on the role Candice will play. But beside her, the series starred Harrison Ford, Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley.
Shrinking’s season three will be out on in late 2025.
