As children, we often see our parents as the safest place, believing they ‘know everything.’ While it’s normal for parents to have their own differences, it’s not okay to discuss those differences in front of the child. When a child gets to hear about their parents’ insecurities, incapabilities , or doubts, it’ll inevitably create anxiety and confusion.
