Jason Momoa had nothing but praise for girlfriend Adria Arjona as the couple stepped out together for a major moment in his career.
The actor was visibly proud to have Arjona by his side at the New York City premiere of his new action comedy The Wrecking Crew, where the two shared affectionate moments on the red carpet, including holding each other close and sealing the night with a kiss.
Speaking to PEOPLE at the premiere on Thursday, Jan. 15, Momoa made it clear just how much Arjona’s presence meant to him.
“I mean, she’s the love of my life. I’m very excited,” he said when asked about her support.
He also highlighted how well their lives currently align, adding, “I’m happy we’re [aligned] in our schedules. We’re both here. She’s going to do a film. I’m going to do a film, so it’s perfect we get to be here together.”
The comments offered a rare but heartfelt glimpse into the couple’s relationship, which they tend to keep relatively private.
Momoa, 46, and Arjona, 33, first crossed paths while working together on the 2021 film Sweet Girl.
Although they have not publicly shared when their romance officially began, Momoa confirmed he was in a new relationship in May 2024, a few months after finalising his divorce from Lisa Bonet in January of that year.
Since then, the pair have made several public appearances together throughout 2025, gradually stepping into the spotlight as a couple.
Their red carpet debut came earlier this year at SNL50: The Homecoming Concert, followed by their appearance at Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary special.
Momoa also showed his support for Arjona in May when he accompanied her to the Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of her comedy Splitsville.
More recently, the two were photographed enjoying a low-key date night in Agoura Hills, Calif., and they frequently interact on social media, including Momoa leaving three heart emojis on Arjona’s Jan. 13 Instagram post from her W Magazine shoot.
Professionally, Momoa stars in The Wrecking Crew alongside Dave Bautista as two Hawaii-based cops who get tangled up with organised crime.
The film begins streaming on Prime Video on Jan. 28. As Momoa continues to line up major projects ahead, his admiration for Arjona appears just as strong as his excitement for what’s next, both on and off screen.
