Tata Motors’ share price declined 3.17% to Rs 319.40 apiece on Thursday ahead of the company’s Q2 FY26 results announcement scheduled for November 13, 2025.
The stock came under pressure a day after the listing of Tata Motors’ Commercial Vehicles (CV) division, with profit-booking weighing on sentiment. According to BSE data, shares worth Rs 28.88 crore were traded during the session.
On Wednesday, the CV business made a strong market debut, opening at Rs 335 per share on the NSE — a 28.48% premium to its implied value of Rs 260.75 per share. On the BSE, the stock listed at Rs 330.25 per share, up 26.09% over its adjusted value of Rs 261.90.
Q2 Results Update
In an exchange filing, Tata Motors said its Board of Directors will meet on Thursday, November 13, to consider and approve the financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025. “A meeting of the Board of Directors of Tata Motors Limited (formerly TML Commercial Vehicles Limited) is scheduled to be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, inter alia, to consider and approve the Audited Standalone Financial Results and Unaudited Consolidated Financial Results (with Limited Review) for Q2 and H1 FY26,” the company said.
Tata Motors will also hold an analyst and investor call post the results announcement, which will be available on its corporate website at cv.tatamotors.com.
Tata Motors’ demerger took effect on October 1, with October 14, 2025, set as the record date. Shares of the Commercial Vehicles division were listed on both exchanges on November 12.
Following the split, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd (TMPV) began trading independently on October 14 at around Rs 400 per share (adjusted for the demerger). Based on the pre-demerger closing price of Rs 660.75, the implied valuation of the CV business was pegged between Rs 260 and Rs 270 per share.
