Public protests continue for the restoration of democracy in Myanmar, university students rallied in Daoist city. In Yangon, protesters released red balloons to protest the military crackdown with security forces entering homes and torturing people.
The crackdown has killed more than 250 protesters and arrested 2,600 since February 1. The United States and the European Union imposed sanctions on 13 people and two military units involved in the coup.
