ISLAMABAD – The Punjab Education Department has announced to extend school holidays from May 16 to 23. According to a letter from the Ministry of Education, under the orders of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), educational institutions will now remain closed from May 17 to 23.
The application will also apply to public and private educational institutions, madrassas, vocational and technical institutes. An important meeting will be held on May 18 to review the situation in Corona and decide whether to open more holidays or open schools.
It should be noted that according to the NCOC, 48 people died from corona in 24 hours across the country, after which the total death toll from corona rose to 19,384.
