ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar has said that business will be closed two days a week, shops will be allowed to open till 8 pm, indoor dining will be closed, 50 percent of passengers will be allowed in public transport, in offices. 50% of the staff will work, the new restrictions will apply from August 3 to August 31. He said in a media briefing after the NCOC meeting that there is a strong realization that sanctions have a big impact on our weaker sections. Yes, that’s why we developed the Smart Lockdown strategy.

Under this policy, we succeeded in the first three waves. The epidemic has increased rapidly in recent days, the number of cases is also increasing, some decisions have been taken with the permission of the Prime Minister. He said that the new restrictions would be applicable in Karachi, Hyderabad, Abbottabad, Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, and Mirpur, Skardu, and Gilgit, Pindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Multan.

He had allowed indoors and marriage halls for vaccination people but it is not possible to check who has a vaccination. We have banned there, outdoor will be allowed. Timing has also been reduced from 12 to 10 o’clock. They are going to close down indoor dining in restaurants, re-open public transport to 50%, and 50% of staff will also work in offices.
