The IT sector has been battered on Dalal Street with the sell-off seen in the US markets recently. The Nifty IT index, along with TCS and most other peers, hit 52-week lows in recent times. However, with the 90-day pause on tariffs being announced and the resultant rally in the Nasdaq on Wednesday night, the sector becomes a prime short-covering candidate.
