Optical illusion personality tests, as the term suggests, are strange images that trick the eyes and hence act as optical illusions. These are psychology-based pictures, and they claim to reveal a person’s innermost thoughts, feelings, and true personality. How? Well, these images have one or more elements in them and they can be interpreted in different ways. Depending on what catches a person’s attention first, a lot can be revealed about them.
This particular image, which was shared by Recovery Trauma Ltd in a video posted on social media recently, claims to tell if a person is an introvert or extrovert based on what catches their attention first. To take the test, simply look at the above image and notice what you saw first; a person will either see trees or roots first. Now read its interpretation below:

1. If you saw the trees first…

Then it means that you are an extrovert. “You are likely more outgoing and extroverted. You acre deeply about how other perceive you and may sometimes place too much weight on others’ opinions. You’re polite and considerate in social situations, but there’s also a mysterious side to you. People often find it hard to read what you are really thinking,” it is said in the video.

2. If you saw the roots in the image first…

Then it means that you are an introvert. “You tend to be gentle and may struggle with self-esteem at times. However, beneath the surface you are strong willed and surprisingly stubborn. People might initially think you are ordinary or unremarkable, but once they truly get to know you, they realise you are incredibly capable and passionate,” it is said in the video.

3. If you saw the lips first…

“If you saw the lips first, you’re likely a calm, grounded person who enjoys simplicity. You avoid drama and prefer to live a peaceful, balanced life. You go with the flow, rarely seeking unnecessary complications and find contentment in the small, steady moments. You’re not easily swayed by trends or pressure. Instead, you value emotional stability, quiet confidence and a sense of inner peace,” it was shared in the video.
While such tests are fun to take, one should note that they aren’t always 100 per cent true. Why? Because the test results depend on many factors like– how truly one answered the test, what was their mood when they took it, etc. So, one should take this test result with a pinch of salt.
