Meghan Markle continues to put her kids in the spotlight despite Prince Harry’s reported reservations.
On the first episode of her new podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, the Duchess of Sussex opened up about family life with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet while speaking to her guest and close friend, Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd.
Meghan shared a sweet story involving 5-year-old Archie and a cowboy-themed New Year’s Eve memory.
The mom-of-two recalled how Herd had visited their Montecito home in a glittering cowboy outfit before heading to a party. The appearance left a lasting impression on Archie, who still asks: “When do I get to see the cowboys again?”
The former Suits star also gave listeners a rare peek into her daily life with three-year-old Princess Lilibet, explaining that her daughter still naps and attends only half days at preschool.
The anecdotes, which Meghan shared while promoting both her podcast and her lifestyle brand As Ever, comes amid claims that Prince Harry is “not overly happy” with their children being tied to her public image.
According to royal editor Matt Wilkinson, the Duke prefers a more private approach when it comes to Archie and Lilibet, while Meghan is more comfortable showcasing family moments.
“She doesn’t want to hide them away,” Wilkinson said on the A Right Royal Podcast on April 4.
