GILGIT: Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Chief Minister Haji Gulbar Khan Thursday issued a strong statement condemning what he termed India’s persistent aggression, warning that such actions will ultimately come at a high cost to New Delhi.
In a statement, Khan said, “India’s intransigence will prove expensive. From the peaks of the Himalayas to the shores of Karachi, the entire nation stands united to deliver a crushing response to the Indian hostility.”
He further accused India of resorting to what he called “petty tactics of water aggression” after facing defeats in conventional, aerial, and digital confrontations.
“Now, India is targeting Pakistan through hydrological warfare,” the chief minister said, adding that the people of Pakistan stand “like a wall of steel” against such provocations.
Highlighting the patriotic legacy of Gilgit-Baltistan, Khan paid tribute to the region’s martyrs, including Lalak Jan, Colonel Rashid Karim Shaheed, Colonel Mujeeb Shaheed, and Major Wahab Shaheed, who, he said, “stood fearlessly in the face of enemy and embraced martyrdom defending the motherland.”
