The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday granted protective bail to Pakistani YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, in a case related to alleged reckless driving on a national highway.
The court directed Rehman to appear before the relevant trial court by May 5. The decision was announced during a hearing in which the content creator was present along with his legal counsel.
Rehman has been booked for allegedly overspeeding and performing stunts while driving on a motorway, prompting legal action from the authorities.
The incident came to light after the social media personality shared a video showing himself not only exceeding the speed limit but also driving without holding the steering wheel.
The footage quickly circulated on social media, drawing heavy criticism from social media users for promoting dangerous behaviour.
Acting swiftly, the motorway police registered a case against the YouTuber for violating traffic laws.
In an official statement, the motorway police confirmed the registration of a case, reiterating their commitment to ensuring safety on national highways.
Authorities also appealed to citizens to cooperate with motorway police efforts in maintaining road safety.
