Dakota Fanning celebrated sister Elle Fanning 27th birthday on April 9th, with a sweet throwback photo.
In an Instagram post, The Watcher actress, then 4-year-old, is seen snuggling her baby sister, while posing in her mother’s Hannah’s arms.
The post was captioned, “Our first photo together 27 years ago today.”
Recalling the Maleficent star’s big day, she added, “I was asleep in the delivery room during Elle’s birth, so I can really say we have been together from the start.”
“What an honour that has been, and I can’t wait for the rest. HBD @ellefanning I love you,” Dakota added.
“I love you, Cody,” Ella wrote in comments using Dakota’s nickname.
Previously, the duo was seen together at the Golden Globes in January, when Elle was promoting A Complete Unknown which was nominated in three categories.
The sisters are daughters to Steve Fanning and Heather Joy Arrington, who are both former pro athletes. They got divorced in 2018.
Dakota and Elle pursued their acting career in 2001 with debut role in I Am Sam.
