Pete Davidson has left his comedy career for an unpredictable future.
Pete Davidson, the American actor and comedian known for his wild humor, and quirky personality, recently spilled the beans on his future plans, as he is now ready to trade in his comedy shoes for something more serious.
The comedian, who began his romance with reality star Kim Kardashian in 2021, rose to fame through roles on Saturday Night Live (SNL) and films like The King of Staten Island.
Pete recently shared that he wants to explore roles that are more dramatic in the future.
He opened up to E!News: I would love to do more serious things.
[‘Riff Raff] is a lot of fun. I’m really enjoying it. Usually, I’m the pothead dude or the guy who helps get the girl into the movie. So, it was a lot of fun for me to grab a gun and play a serious guy he added.
The comedian has been open about how tough the Hollywood industry has been, admitting that it was a lot harder than he expected.
Pete previously told Page Six: The innocence in my eyes has made me so sad. Showbiz is so hard, and I didn’t know how hard it was. I chose the wrong business to go into, to have a mental illness. I’m one of the most insecure and saddest people I’ve ever been in, and I chose the most insecure, saddest business to go into.
Pete Davidson then spoke about the age gap between himself and his SNL castmates, explaining that he spent a lot of time just “hanging out” with Lorne Michaels behind the scenes.
