God kept me alive because I had something important to do, Hasina Wajid

Former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajid said in her speech yesterday after fleeing the country that God kept her alive because she had something important to do.

Yesterday, Sheikh Hasina Wajid addressed her supporters on social media after her escape, during which thousands of protesters set fire to Sheikh Hasina Wajid's ancestral home in Dhaka.

According to a foreign news agency, there was a protest against Sheikh Hasina Wajid's announcement to address her supporters. The protesters had threatened that if Sheikh Hasina gave a speech, they would demolish her family home.

According to the news agency, as soon as Sheikh Hasina Wajid's speech began, the protesters stormed Sheikh Hasina's ancestral home in Dhaka. The angry protesters first set fire to the ancestral home of the fugitive former prime minister, then demolished the house with a crane.

According to Indian media, in her audio address, Sheikh Hasina Wajid said regarding the protesters that they can demolish a house, but we can rebuild it, Bangladesh will rise again.

Hasina Wajid said that I have repeatedly escaped assassination attacks, and God has protected me from dangers many times in the past. There must be a reason why I survived and I believe that my life has been preserved because I have some important work to do in the coming days.

It should be remembered that Sheikh Hasina Wajid fled the country and went to India after the violent protests in the country last year. The head of the interim government of Bangladesh, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, has also demanded the return of Sheikh Hasina Wajid from India several times.

The interim government of Bangladesh also canceled the passports of Sheikh Hasina Wajid and 96 of her other colleagues last month for torturing the protesters.
