Washington - US President Donald Trump has decided to impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC).
According to the British news agency, the White House has said that US President Donald Trump will sign an executive order on sanctions on the International Criminal Court today.
The White House says that the US president is imposing sanctions on the ICC for taking actions against the United States and other allies, including Israel.
According to the news agency, the US president’s decision will impose financial and visa sanctions on staff involved in the ICC investigation against American citizens and its allies and their families.
It should be noted that last year, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and others.
The International Criminal Court also issued arrest warrants for former Israeli Defense Minister Yuv Gallant on charges of committing war crimes.
The International Court of Justice said that there are reasonable grounds to believe that Netanyahu and Gallant committed war crimes. Netanyahu and Gallant showed no caution in attacking the civilian population, used starvation as a weapon of war, and war crimes include murder, torture, and other inhumane treatment. These arrest warrants are in the interest of the victims of Gaza and their families.
