London - A killer who stabbed a man to death so he could be with his wife proposed to the victim's wife during a court hearing.

 Mark Meadows was sentenced to 23 years in prison in 2022 for the murder of Keith Green. The criminal proposed marriage to the victim's wife, Louise Grieve, in court. Detective Superintendent Jon Capps revealed on the TV show Special Ops: To Catch a Criminal" "I've never seen anyone propose marriage in a crown court. It's really shocking.

According to the Daily Star, 24-year-old Meadows' affair with Louise Grieve began in 2021. Louise lived with her husband, Keith, and two children. Louise, who was 13 years older, nicknamed Meadows Jesus because of his long hair. Louise kicks Keith out of the house but also asks him to come back, causing jealousy within the Meadows. In February 2022, Meadows attacked Keith and stabbed him eight times, killing him.

Meadows and her brother Gorton were convicted of murder, while Louise Grieve was sentenced to 8 years in prison. Police questioned Louise Grieve's statements, as she appeared to be in control of her emotions. She was sometimes crying and sometimes laughing, which raised questions about her character.
