In Karachi, 7 citizens lost their lives in 24 hours due to truck and dumper collisions.
According to Geo News, a motorcycle collided with a trailer parked on the Jam Sadiq Bridge in the Korangi area of Karachi, resulting in the death of a father and son on the motorcycle.
Police said that a husband and wife and their 3-year-old child were coming from Korangi Allahwala Town on the motorcycle, when they collided with a trailer parked on the Jam Sadiq Bridge. The father and the 3-year-old child were injured in the accident and died during treatment in the hospital, while the woman was safe.
Police said that the trailer had broken down, so its driver had parked the trailer on the bridge and left. Due to darkness, the trailer did not see the deceased Rizwan riding the motorcycle and he collided with it.
According to rescue officials, seven people, including a child, died in traffic accidents in the city within 24 hours. All deaths were caused by collisions between trucks and dumpers.
