Islamabad - Ittehad Tanzeem-ul-Madaris has demanded immediate issuance of gazette notification of Madrasa Registration Bill.
According to Express News, a meeting of Ittehad Tanzeem-ul-Madaris was held in Islamabad, which was attended by eminent scholars Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Mufti Taqi Usmani and other dignitaries.
After the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman held a joint press conference along with Mufti Taqi Usmani and Mufti Muneeb and said that the Madrasa Bill is not controversial because the Parliament has approved it. Were any questions raised after the bill was passed?
He said that our complaint is with the government and our position is subject to the constitution and law, so we do not want to have any negative discussions.
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said that the Madrasa Bill has become an Act, the President did not object to the bill for 10 days, a gazette notification should be issued according to the law.
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said that if any decision is taken against the approval of the Madrasa Registration Bill, they will sit together and announce the next course of action.
Meanwhile, the central leaders of MQM Pakistan are scheduled to meet Maulana Fazlur Rehman today, in which there is a possibility of discussing the Madrasa Bill.
