Zimbabwe set a new world record by making the highest score in T20

Zimbabwe has set a new world record by making the highest score in T20 cricket.

The Zimbabwean team scored a record 344 runs against Gambia in the ICCT Twenty20 World Cup sub-regional qualifier match.

It should be noted that earlier the record of highest score in T20 was held by Nepal with 314 which they made against Mongolia in last year's Asian Games.

In the match played in Nairobi, Zimbabwe scored 344 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 4 wickets while playing first.

Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza scored the first T20 century for Zimbabwe.

Sikandar Raza completed his century off 33 balls and remained unbeaten on 133 off 43 balls, his innings included 15 sixes and 7 fours.
