Ismail Qaani, the commander of Quds Force of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, has come to the scene after being absent from the public scene for the past several days and after rumors of martyrdom.
According to the foreign news agency Reuters, the video of Ismail Qaani was broadcast on Iran's official media last night.
In the video, Ismail Qaani is seen with Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah at the time of bringing the dead body of martyred IRGC commander Abbas Neil Foroshan to Iran.
Iran's official media also broadcast the funeral of Abbas Neil Foroshan live today, in which Ismail Qaani is seen.
It should be remembered that in early October, there were reports that Israel had martyred Hashim Safiuddin, the expected successor of the martyred head of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, by aerial bombardment in Beirut.
It was being claimed by the Israeli media and other foreign media that Ismail Qaani was also martyred along with Hashim Safiuddin in the Israeli attack.
Ismail Qaani's absence from the public scene since the attack was also the cause of rumours, but in the past few days, Iran's semi-official news agency Tasnim quoted a senior adviser of the Revolutionary Guards as saying that Ismail Qaani will soon be the supreme leader of Iran. A 'sign of victory' will be given by Ayatollah Khamenei
