A man in Gujarat saved the life of a snake by performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). CPR is the technique in which a person tries to save life by breathing from his mouth to another person's mouth.
Yash Tadvi, a wildlife rescuer in Gujarat, said he received a call on his helpline number that a snake was found dead in an area.
On reaching the spot, Yash saw the condition of the snake which was unconscious. There was no movement but they were sure that the snake would survive.
I took the snake's neck in my hand, opened its mouth and tried to make it conscious by blowing into its mouth for three minutes, Mr. Yash said.
He said that even after giving CPR in the first two attempts, there was no change in its condition, but when I did CPR for the third time, the snake started moving.
