In their statement to the committee, the first-year student and her parents, who were linked to the incident of rape on social media, said that the girl fell from the bed at home on October 2, due to which she was first taken to the General Hospital and later On October 3, he was treated by Dr. Sabir Hussain of Brain and Spine Clinic in Cantt and later on October 4, he started treatment at Faqaz Hospital in Model Town, Lahore.

The report also stated that the girl remained in the ICU due to respiratory problems and was discharged from the hospital on October 11. The victim was on regular leave from the college from October 3 to October 15, during which her name was linked to the false rape incident as part of propaganda. The student and her parents have applied to register a case under the Cybercrime Act against those spreading lies on social media.

The High Power Committee formed by the Chief Minister of Punjab spent the whole day on Tuesday in the inquiry of the same case and the committee meeting was held at the Civil Secretariat in which all the factors were reviewed. Director Arif Chaudhry, Principal College Dr Sadia Javed, ASP Gulberg Shahrukh Khan, Security Incharge Punjab College Gulberg Campus 10, Rescue Officer Shahid and 28 students recorded interviews.
