Islamabad - 6 officials of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police in civilian clothes were arrested from D Chowk.
According to police sources, the policemen were involved in the attacks on the law enforcement agencies along with the rioters. The arrested officials were attacking the law enforcement agencies with tear gas, grenades and stones.
Police sources say that 5 more personnel of KP Police were arrested near Attock.
According to police sources, out of these 5 arrested officials, 2 belong to CTD and 3 belong to KP police. Law enforcement agencies caught the plainclothes officers fleeing in police vehicles.
Police sources have further informed that tear gas shells, sticks and stones have been recovered from these 5 KP policemen
