Mumbai - Bigg Boss 17 winner and popular comedian Manoor Farooqui has been revealed to be on gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's hit list.
According to Indian media, the Bishnoi gang tried to target NCP MLA Baba Siddiqui along with Manoor Farooqui. The attack was planned to be carried out during an event at Manoor in Delhi in September, but the plot was foiled when timely information was received.
According to the report, two members of the Bishnoi gang followed Munoor Farooqui and booked the same flight with him and also arranged rooms in his hotel to attack him. Fortunately, the intelligence agencies were informed in time and the security of the manor was tightened. The comedian was immediately flown back to Mumbai from Delhi.
Despite the failure of the attack, the threat to Manwar Farooqui's life remains. After Baba Siddiqui's murder, Mumbai Police has increased the security of Manoor Farooqui. It may be recalled that Baba Siddiqui was murdered on October 12 in Bandra East, and the Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the murder.
