ISLAMABAD - Defense Minister Khawaja Asif slammed Jemima Goldsmith for expressing concern over PTI founder Imran Khan's health.
Jemima Goldsmith tweeted on social media platform X and expressed concern about Imran Khan's safety and health, saying that there are serious and worrying issues regarding Imran Khan in jail. Pakistani authorities have barred family members and lawyers from meeting Imran Khan, and all court hearings have also been postponed.
On this, Khawaja Asif replied to Jemima and said that Imran Khan is being lenient even though he has never shown lenience with his opponents. Nawaz Sharif was not even allowed to talk to his dying wife Kulsoom Nawaz on the phone and several opposition leaders were jailed without charge.
