KARACHI - Popular Pakistani actress Yashma Gul asked an important question in the gathering organized by world renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik at the Governor's House.
These days, Dr. Zakir Naik is on a visit to Pakistan and last night on October 5, a meeting was held at Governor House Sindh in Karachi, in which a large number of people participated.
Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori gave a warm welcome to Dr. Zakir Naik and his son, the ceremony started with the National Anthem followed by recitation of Holy Quran.
In this gathering, Dr. Zakir Naik gave a speech on the topic 'What is the purpose of our life?' and then started the question and answer session.
The first question in this session was asked by the Pakistani actress Yashma Gill, the actress told Dr. Zakir Naik that she had become religious in the past and then she came back to religion after listening to Dr. Zakir Naik's statements.
Yishma Gul asked that when Allah Ta'ala has already written the destiny of a human being, what is in the power of a human being? So they understand that destiny has already been written.
Answering the question of the actress, Dr. Zakir Naik said that this question comes to the mind of every Muslim, many people dare to ask this question while some people are afraid to ask this question due to the fear of fatwa.
Dr. Zakir Naik said that Allah Ta'ala knows the unseen, Allah Ta'ala knows what actions a person has to do in his life, whether those actions are good or bad.
He said that man does not do what Allah Ta'ala has written in his destiny, but Allah Ta'ala has written what man has to do, because Allah Ta'ala has knowledge of the unseen and Allah knows what such and such a person will do in his life. What decision will be taken at the turn?
Dr. Zakir Naik gave an example and said that a person is standing at a crossroads, there are four different paths, then Allah has written in his destiny the path that that person chose from his thoughts at that time, that is the path of Allah. Allah did not choose, but man himself chose that path for himself
