Indian cricket team's all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja followed in the footsteps of his wife and entered the field of politics.
According to Indian media, Ravindra Jadeja, who recently retired from T20 International, started his new journey by joining Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Jadeja's entry into politics was announced by the Indian all-rounder's wife Revaba, who is a BJP member of parliament, on X (formerly Twitter).
Jadeja's wife Revaba is a BJP MLA from Jamnagar in Gujarat. She joined the BJP in 2019 and became an MP in 2022.
It should be remembered that Ravindra Jadeja scored more than 3 thousand runs and 294 wickets in 72 Test matches while in ODIs he has played 197 matches for India in which he scored 2 thousand 756 runs and took 220 wickets.
Apart from this, Jadeja scored 515 runs and 54 wickets in 74 matches in T20 International.
After India won the T20 World Cup this year, Jadeja announced his retirement from this format
