Bhopal - In Bhopal, the capital of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, a young man was arrested on the charge of misbehaving with a cow.
According to media reports, the incident took place in Bhopal on Saturday and was also videotaped by local residents and the suspected youth, identified as Chatto Malviya, was arrested.
A video of the young man also surfaced on social media, in which the young man was allegedly seen acting unnaturally with a cow.
Responding immediately the citizens handed over the suspect Chhutu Malaviya to the police and the police registered a case in Chhola police station.
The news of the incident in Bhopal drew condemnation and outrage from all quarters and citizens demanded strict action against the accused animal abusers.
Keep in mind that the cow is considered sacred in India and followers of Hindu religion refer to cow as mother.
There have been incidents of animal abuse in Bhopal before, a few months ago a video surfaced where a young man could be seen throwing a dog into a pond.
After the case of the cow abuse incident was registered, legal action will be taken against the accused Chhuto Malaviya under the alleged crime.
