Punjab Interior Secretary Noor Ul Amin Mengal visited the injured police personnel in the attack of bandits in Kacha area. The Home Secretary met the injured personnel individually and encouraged them. The Home Secretary directed that the injured police personnel should be given the best medical care.
CTD and fresh police forces will continue operations in the Kacha area. The writ of the state will be fully established. Earlier, after the attack on the police van by bandits in Sadiqabad's Machhka area, the Punjab Police retaliated and killed the main accused, Bashir Shar. He was among the main suspects in the attack.
The Inspector General of Punjab had said that the two associates of Daco Bashir Shar, Daco Naseer and Gadi Kosh alias Meena were seriously injured. An operation was underway to nab the robbers involved in the incident. All the accused involved in the attack on the police personnel will be brought to justice.
