Taylor Swift fans' latest theories about her Wembley shows turned out to be less true than they'd hoped, as Post Malone failed to appear during her third show on Saturday.
After spotting a key detail on the shows' poster, Swifties were convinced Malone would be joining the hitmaker on stage in the capital.
The billionaire songstress is in the middle of the second leg of her Eras Tour with five shows at the London Stadium, following her sell-out dates in June.
However, as Taylor took the stage to perform Fortnight from her new album The Tortured Poets Department, Malone was noticeably absent.
Eagle-eyed fans were led to believe the rapper would join her on stage after spotting symbols alongside each concert date on the show's promotion.
The poster featured a typewriter - a symbol that appears a lot in their music video together - with Friday's gig.
Fans became even more convinced of her theory after Taylor shared a photo of herself and Melvin, real name Austin Richard Post, on her Instagram Stories shortly before showtime.
Paying a heartfelt tribute, she wrote: Was lucky enough to hear this amazing music on the set of the 'Fortnite' video when Austin played it for me.
'It's incredible how versatile his artistry is. And only the man at the bottom survives.
On the poster, her first concert date included a heart, which fans believed was a nod to the surprise appearance of her beloved pal Ed Sheeran, 33, who walked out on stage. He sent the crowd wild.
Thursday's highlight, Swifties concluded, was in regards to the debut of her new midnight bodysuit.
Looking ahead, they concluded on Monday, which will see Taylor's boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34, return to Wembley, wearing the hat symbol at the top.
Last month the American footballer, dressed in a top hat and tails, took to the arena stage during a segment where he helped his girlfriend change clothes.
Then there's a cameo at the final gig, interpreted as an announcement for a behind-the-scenes documentary of the tour.
After one fan posted the theory on X, others rushed to comment convinced they had broken the code, writing: 'Also the fact that when Travis was on stage [Taylor] said it was was the "first" that left me wondering. Definitely not his last time on stage': 'Well you're on to something': These are what I was thinking before!!!!': 'Definitely Post Malone! Taylor's private jet flew from Nashville to London yesterday… and the Post was in Nashville all week!'
Others, however, were quick to put cold water on the idea, pointing out that it was possibly due to her support acts and the fact that Post was busy promoting her new album in Nashville. Travis was training with his team, the Kansas Chiefs.
Ed was greeted by screams and cheers from the 92,000-strong crowd when he made his surprise appearance on stage on Thursday.
During their set, in which Taylor changes every gig, the singer-songwriter performed Everything Has Changed from their 2012 album Red, followed by Endgame from Reputation.
The two then sang an emotional acoustic rendition of Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud while bright green lights flashed from the stadium.
Before leaving the stage, Taylor showered him with compliments and hugs, calling him her 'second brother'.
He said: 'Now he's someone who plays at Wembley like every week. It is regular for him and he works very hard. He's probably very tired but he wanted to play for you and do it for all of you.'
The appearance comes as the singer returns to London for the first time since the tragic Southport knife attacks and foiled terror plot which saw her cancel three shows in Vienna.
People close to Taylor said Thursday's performance would be the 'hardest concert of her career' after the two incidents left her 'shaken to the core' and led many to speculate that they were good friends. Will join with Ed.
