LAHORE - Punjab Police has claimed that Ahsan Ali, a police officer allegedly involved in cross-border drug smuggling, has been arrested from Batapur.
Lahore Police says that the arrested accused Ahsan Ali is posted in Punjab Constabulary Abbas Line. Accused Ahsan Ali used to send drug consignments across the border through drones.
Officials said that the accused Ahsan was caught while preparing to send the consignment of drugs, the drone and drugs were recovered from the possession of the accused.
Batapur police has registered a case against the official involved in smuggling of marijuana through drone and started investigation.
