Paris - In the Paris Olympics 2024, Serbia defeated Australia in the second quarter-final of the basketball competition to reach the semi-finals.
Serbia defeated Australia by 95 points to 90 in overtime in the second quarter-final of the basketball gold medal at the Press Olympics.
The competition between the two teams was tied with 82-82 points in four quarters and the match was decided in overtime.
Serbia and Australia scored 17-31 in the first quarter, 25-23 in the second quarter, 25-11 in the third quarter and 15-17 in the fourth quarter respectively.
With the match tied at full time, overtime was granted, with Serbia scoring 13 points to 8 to advance to the semi-finals.
