Pakistan formally requested China to reschedule the loans for 5 years

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that China has officially requested to reschedule Pakistani loans for 5 years and we hope that the Chinese government will respond positively to our request.

A delegation of journalists informed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif about the success of his visit to China. On this occasion, he said that there is no compromise on friendship and relations with China, China is Pakistan's iron brother.

He said that he has achieved important objectives in his recent visit to China. He formally requested China to reschedule Pakistan's loans for 5 years. Hopefully, the Chinese government will respond positively to our request.

He said that he is well aware of the problems of inflation and electricity, he is reviewing the priorities regarding IPPs, he has given relief to the consumers of up to 200 units of electricity.

The Prime Minister said that many Chinese companies will invest in Pakistan, and the people will have to unite like a fist to achieve the goals of economic development.

He said that there will be no compromise on the security of the Chinese working in Pakistan, the government and the institutions are on the same page on the security of the Chinese, they consider it their responsibility, CPEC is ongoing and will continue, CPEC is an effort. Complete the projects as early as possible during the tenure of your government.

It should be noted that Pakistan has to roll over a debt of about 12 billion dollars from friendly countries, of which 5 billion dollars from Saudi Arabia, 3 billion dollars from UAE and 4 billion dollars from China are included.
