Men's 100m race set a new record at the Paris Olympics

The men's 100m race at the Paris Olympics 2024 has set a new record.

In the semi-finals, 12 players' timing was less than 10 seconds, and 4 players could not make it to the finals despite their timing being less than 10 seconds.

For the first time in Olympic history, an athlete missed the final race despite timing under 10 seconds.

South Africa's Benjamin Richardson clocked 9.95 seconds, Japan's Abdul Hakeem Brown 9.96 seconds, Great Britain's Louie Hinchcliffe and Canada's Andre de Grasse were out of the final despite clocking 9.98 seconds.
