Meghan Markle sends a clear message to the royal family 'Proud Harry'

Meghan Markle is sending a powerful message to the royal family, showing that stepping down as a senior working royal has not diminished her influence.

The Duchess of Sussex arrived at a heavily guarded theater in Columbia, supported by Prince Harry, on the final day of her visit, the Mirror reports.

Meghan looked stunning in a sleeveless white shirt and bejeweled skirt as she greeted attendees at the Municipal Theater in Kelly during the Afro Women and Power Forum, while a proud Harry looked on.

Security around the theater was beefed up, with armed soldiers, explosives officers, and police, including one with a dog, deployed to ensure safety.

Later, Harry and Meghan are scheduled to attend the Petronio Alvarez Festival, a celebration of Afro-Colombian music, in the final event of their four-day tour of the South American country.

Earlier, the Sussexes visited Cartagena, where they engaged with a local drum school that preserves traditional African drumming.

Meghan and Harry received a wooden boat from a student as a tribute to the coastal town and took part in drum lessons and a local performance, which received rapturous applause from both the Vice President and Meghan.

In Colombia, their security includes an officer equipped with a Kevlar shield, designed to protect against potential threats. The shield, also known as the ballistic briefcase, is used to protect the country's vice president, who has faced multiple assassination attempts.

Meanwhile, Harry lost a High Court challenge against the Home Office in February over changes to his personal security while in the UK, but has been granted leave to appeal.
