Islam said that we want justice for the killings during the regime of the former Bangladeshi Prime Minister. Hasina Wajid should return home and face the cases.

In response to a question, Nahid Islam said that the priority of the interim government is to hold clean and transparent elections. However, there is a need for electoral and constitutional reforms before the elections, besides the investigations into the alleged corruption during the previous government are among the priorities of the interim government.
