Patna - The body of a 3-year-old girl was found in a suitcase in the Muzaffarpur area of the Indian state of Bihar.
According to Indian media, the body of the girl found in the suitcase was identified as 3-year-old Mithi, whose murder was linked to none other than her stepmother.
After identifying the girl, the house was searched and the forensic team found traces of blood on the floor, in the sink and on the ceiling, while the girl's mother was missing Kajal.
The police found that Kajal had called her husband Manoj on the day of the incident and told him that she was going to her aunt's house.
Manoj got suspicious of his wife Kajal and filed an FIR against her. The police traced the location of Kajal's phone. She was at her boyfriend's house.
During interrogation, Kajal told the police that she had been in an extramarital relationship for 2 years and wanted to marry her boyfriend.
According to the police, the two planned to escape together but the boy refused to take the daughter.
The killer's mother Kajal told the police that she wanted to get rid of her husband at all costs and the boyfriend was not ready to take the daughter along. So he planned to kill the girl after watching the crime patrol drama.
The brutal mother had cut the throat of her 3-year-old daughter, put the body in a suitcase, and dumped it in the bushes.
Police say that during the investigation it was proved that the boyfriend did not ask him to kill the daughter. Mother took this step individually. So the boyfriend was not detained
