Islamabad - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called a meeting of the federal cabinet in which the possibility of banning Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and considering the issue of Article 6 was revealed.

According to the details, the federal cabinet meeting will be held today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in which a total of 6 points of agenda will be considered. The issue of establishing special courts under the P Act will also be considered.

It has been reported that the agenda of the cabinet meeting will also approve the memorandum of understanding between Pakistan and Denmark and the appointment of the Chairman of the Abandoned Waqf Property Board. Apart from this, the matter of banning Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf is likely to be taken into consideration in the cabinet meeting. 

In the meeting, Article 6 action against Imran Khan, Arif Alvi, and former Deputy Speaker of National Assembly Qasim Suri can also be considered.

Earlier on Monday, a heavy contingent of police under the leadership of SSP Hasan Jahangir Vito raided the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Secretariat in Islamabad and surrounded the office. Police arrested PTI Information Secretary Rauf Hasan and took him with them.

Police sources said that today the law enforcement agencies raided the main office of PTI's digital media cell in Islamabad on the basis of evidence. The center was formed, anti-Pakistan propaganda was conducted from here in collaboration with anti-national agencies all over the world, and anti-Pakistan and anti-national propaganda was also conducted from this place.
