Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Stalker Arrested After Threatening Couple Online
The suspected stalker of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce has been arrested by German police.
The American man, suspected of stalking Taylor Swift and making threats against her and Travis Kelce on social media, was arrested by authorities on Wednesday at a Popstars Eras tour show.
The unidentified suspect was caught trying to enter Swift's concert in Gelsenkirchen with tickets to the show but was detained at the venue's entry control point before the concert.
According to the police, via Variety, he was only apprehended when they could not rule out that he was indeed a threat.
According to the AP, event organizers turned officials over the alleged stalker's unusual online behavior.
According to authorities, the individual first raised concerns by threatening Swift and her partner, Travis Kelce. He stressed that at no point were concertgoers or the singer, Kelis, who was present for the performance, in danger.
A court has ordered the man to be kept in custody for up to a week.
Over the next two weeks, Swift will perform seven times in Germany, including gigs in Munich, Hamburg, and Gelsenkirchen. She will play five nights in London in August to close out the European leg of the ERA tour.
