According to foreign media reports, the 150-year-old skeleton of the Stegosaurus dinosaur, dubbed 'Apex', which is still intact, was put up for auction by auction house Sotheby's on Wednesday.
According to Sotheby's, Apex, the most complete dinosaur fossil ever discovered, was valued at between $4 million and $6 million before the auction, but it was bought for a record price well above the sale estimate.
